I was just watching your brief Understanding segment on the Hellboy DVD... and I was thinking... if someone could just animate some of your graphic novel(s), they would make great teaching aids!

I was already planning to include some of your stuff in my senior English class next semester, but with kids these days, we need something even more visual than comics to get through to them. The Hellboy segment is great, but it takes a bit to get going...

Thoughts?

Someday, I'd like to try a visual version, but it'd be a huge undertaking.

BTW, the Hellboy feature is fun, but be aware that I did NOT pick any of the visuauls they show, many of which have nothing to do with the points I'm making. :-(

I figured as much. Still, it got me thinking about an animated version.

Rather than a full-on feature, why not 3-5 minute segments, YouTube style? May not be what you were thinking, but it could get the point across.

My problem is not with IE specifically so much, but trying to figure out how to program the DOM in JavaScript is a battle.

It’s not so much a problem for my sIFR, but it would greatly simplify some other issues I’m having.

Truth is, we need more class periods in order to get the education we are paying for. We should have classes on Fridays as well as every other day, and the classes need to be challenging.
